To celebrate the digital release of her debut EP ‘Before I Begin (The Journey)’ Baby Sol releases the official video for ‘No No’ the second track of the EP and her most widely recognised song to date.
The jazz/soul/reggae track, and its bright humorous video, encapsulates exactly what this young talented singer/songwriter is all about, taking a heartfelt, painful situation and making some light of it.
The track is now available via iTunes and all other digital stores.

Baby Sol has been added to the line up of Glastonbury 2011. Baby will be playing two sets this year, the first on Thursday 23rd June at The Common and the second on Friday 24th June at the Dance Village Pussy Parlure. Miss Baby Sol will be hosting the main stage at this year’s Vintage At Goodwood Festival alongside the wonderful MC Lazy Habits.
Vintage at Goodwood – 13, 14, 15 August 2010 – is the first of what will be an annual music and fashion led celebration of creative British cool from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s, featuring the leading DJs, bands, collectors, purveyors of vintage clothing and vintage vinyl from each decade, as well as contemporary bands and brands inspired by Britain’s rich creative and cultural heritage.

09/08/2010 MISS BABY SOL FEATURES ON MYSTROS ‘DIGMUND FREUD’ EP
Miss Baby Sol has collaborated with UK Hip Hop artist Mystro on his forth coming ‘Digmund Freud’ EP.
The track entitled ‘Don’t Worry’ produced by DJ Flip is Baby’s first official collaboration with the UK rapper and she has the following to say about the collaboration and EP:
‘ I met Mystro through a friend of mine, Colin Emmanuel, and we got along like a house on fire! He’s so funny! Then we ended up working on Colin’s Black Einstein Bowie EP project and did some gigs together, like the TY LIVE Album launch at Jazz Cafe, and I suppose it just went on from there! I’m so chuffed that he asked me to be on it. I love his work’
The EP will be released via Self Destruct Music records on the 13th of September 2010

International hip hop artist Ty will be returning to Jazz Café ,5 Parkway, Camden, London NW1 7PG, on Monday 31st May with ‘Ty’s LIVE Launch’ of his fourth studio album “Special Kind of Fool” on BBE Records.
The Launch will include full live band plus special live sets from Carroll Thompson, Erik Rico, Roses Gabor, Obenewa and BLACK EINSTIEN!!

24/02/2010 – HAITI FUNDRAISER
Miss Baby Sol will be performing at a Haiti fundraiser tonight in support of the ongoing relief effort for the suffering nation. The event named ‘Espoir for Haiti’ will be held at the Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes, Bedford Way, London, WC1H 9EU. Costs £5. Doors 7pm.
Baby will be on stage at 7:30 and will be doing an acoustic set of two songs, so please make sure to get there nice and early if you wish to catch her!!! All proceeds from this gig will be donated through unicef.
Other acts on the night include; Kasai Masai, Bridgette Amofah and Natalie Broomes and more .Please come along and show your support for Haiti, Baby and all the other acts contributing their time to this worthy cause.

Miss Baby Sol has recently finished recording her latest piece, Material Thing – Bopstar feat. Baby Sol, to be released in early March 2010.
Produced by Bopstar and written by Baby Sol, this is her first feature of the year but rest assured it won’t be her last! “I’m really proud of it”, says Baby Sol with a smile on her face. Remixes by Zed Bias and Aaron Ross will also be availablefor purchase, release date and site still TBC but we will keep you posted so please check for updates.

9/12/2009 – LAZY HABITS COLLABORATION
Miss Baby Sol is in the studio today with the Lazy Habits recording for their up and coming album, still to be titled.
Having worked and performed together for some years now, most recently at Glastonbury 2009, they have finally hooked up in the studio to record ‘Memory Banks’.
Baby is very excited to be working with the guys but admits it will not be an easy ride ‘I’ll be in the studio with Lazy Habits all night tonight! I am gonna get worked, I can feeel it! ’ the boys on the other hand just feel blessed to have her on the track ‘Got BabySol in the studio ALL NIGHT! we are blessed!’

7/12/2009 – PERSONAL DEBUT UPDATE
A quick update from Miss Baby Sol:
‘SO you might wonder what I’ve been doing as I haven’t been seen for some time as ‘an artist in my own right’. Well, I have been singing for 2 beautiful people, both of whom I am honoured to call friends.
PALOMA FAITH the fantastical (I’m so very proud of her achievements, she was on Jools Holland the other day!) and
ROX the fantabulous (she is actually, like, FAMILY, I love her! I swear down!)
Please check them both out, Paloma has recently released her album and Rox is on her way!! It’s all very exciting for them and, as I get to go on this crazy ride with them both at the moment, it’s more than very exciting for me too
I have been writing, writing and writing….and will be recording, recording, recording in 2010! Yay!….more on that soon
Well I think that’s all there is to say at the moment! Except that Im eating prawns a lot of late… toodleloo!’
